Egyptoball is an arcade game that takes you to the mysterious world of Egypt, where you will be a treasure hunter. After investigating ancient papyrus, you set on a journey through lost temples and tombs looking for a magic weapon that will guide you to places where amazing riches and treasures remain hidden. The game is based on the classic arkanoid action; it basically consists in destroying all the bricks in the gamefield by shooting a ball with your bat without letting it fall. Each level you play hides a magic item and a key, and if you manage to collect them all, the doors of the Pharaohs' riches will open. In the middle of the action, you can collect power ups that can help you improve your performance, for example, by enlarging the ball or the bat or by increasing the ball speed, etc. But you should pay attention not to catch the destructive items, as they may reduce the power or the ball, or even take off your lives.
The game has very colorful and well drawn graphics, with designs and details that recreate the ancient Egypt environment. The music and sound effects are good as well.
It is relatively easy to play, and although after some minutes it may become a bit repetitive, the storyline is attractive enough to keep your interest up for a while.
If you are a fan of this genre, try it, it won’t disappoint you.
